Multevo are delighted to announce the business has successfully obtained several additional accreditations, showcasing the strength of the business’s operational health, safety, and environmental procedures.
The growing SME contractor delivers a range of turnkey partnerships on both the local and strategic network including highways, civils, traffic management, arboriculture and vegetation management covered by National Highway Sector Schemes (NHSS) 12, 16, and 18.
In addition to their ISO9001 Quality Management Certification, following a series of extensive audits on company processes, policies, and procedures, Multevo now hold ISO14001 Environmental Management Certification as well as ISO45001 Health and Safety Management Certification.
These standards demonstrate that the business is committed to reducing its environmental impact at a time where net zero is at the forefront of the highways industry and showcases their commitment to ensure the safety of their people and the public throughout all business functions.
Since launching their contracting division, Multevo have always been innovative in the way they manage health and safety, including the development of their own App which digitally manages near misses, accidents, risk assessments and audits in real-time.
As well as this, in recent years the business has implemented a range of initiatives to reduce their carbon footprint including the launch of the Hydrovo and implement circular economies for PPE and materials. The company also monitors scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions with a view to their carbon-reduction commitments which is independently audited for compliance.
Jonathan Wood, Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Manager at Multevo, comments: “This is a massive accomplishment, and I can’t thank everyone that was involved with the process enough. This is a very proud moment for the business and the SHEQ team. This is all down to our company ethos which is embedded across all departments. As a business we will continue to strive for continuous improvement to provide our customers with a high quality, sustainable, and safe service.”
As well as new ISOs, Multevo have recently obtained CHAS accreditation and SSIP Principal Contractor, highlighting their compliance with risk management best practice and ability to operate as a Principal Contractor under Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
Multevo have also maintained their Constructionline Gold, NHSS 12, 16 and 18, SafeContractor and ISO9001 certifications, and are certain these new accreditations strengthen their offering to clients nationwide, providing confidence in the organisation’s various operations.
