Wiltshire Council has begun the process of renewing its Highways Works Framework, inviting contractors to express interest in delivering a range of specialist highway services.

The framework will cover construction, foundation and surface works across the county’s road network, supporting both routine maintenance and wider highway improvement programmes.

Flexible access to specialist suppliers

The new arrangement is designed to give the council access to multiple approved suppliers, who can be called upon as required to deliver works on an “as instructed” basis.

This approach aims to provide greater flexibility in maintaining highway assets and responding to operational needs across the network.

Expression of interest deadline set

Interested contractors have until 12:00 on 14 April to submit expressions of interest.

Further details on the opportunity, including registration requirements, are available via the ProContract procurement portal.

The framework forms part of the council’s ongoing efforts to ensure a reliable and well-maintained road network, while streamlining how specialist works are procured and delivered.
