SRL Traffic Systems has announced the appointment of Paul Lewis as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant step in the company’s continued growth and strategic development.

Lewis brings more than two decades of experience leading large, operationally intensive service businesses. He joins SRL from VPS Group, where he most recently served as UK and Ireland Divisional CEO. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for delivering sustainable growth through clear strategic execution and by developing high-performing leadership and front-line teams.

His appointment comes at a pivotal time for SRL Traffic Systems, as the company looks to accelerate its next phase of expansion, innovation, and operational excellence. Lewis is expected to play a central role in shaping the organisation’s future direction and unlocking further growth opportunities.

Commenting on his new role, Lewis said he was pleased to join SRL at such an important stage in its journey. He highlighted his intention to drive growth by building a resilient, future-focused organisation that consistently delivers strong customer service, supported by innovation that creates tangible value. He also emphasised the importance of fostering an environment where employees can thrive over the long term.

SRL’s Non-Executive Chairman, Kevin O’Connor, welcomed the appointment, noting that Lewis understands the importance of building strong businesses from the ground up. He added that Lewis would leverage the expertise and commitment of both front-line staff and leadership teams to guide the company forward.

With Lewis at the helm, SRL Traffic Systems is set to build on its established foundations, maintaining its reputation for high service standards while continuing to expand its innovative offerings, including REMOS, its scalable remotely operated mobile signal system designed to improve safety and efficiency across road networks.
