That’s exactly what our Big Idea competition does.
Are you an SME or a tech start up with a ground-breaking product or idea but are finding it hard to gain traction within the industry?
That’s where the Big Idea comes to the fore – we connect leaders and innovators with those who posess the skills to make a vision become a reality in an open, and honest environment where the only people who benefit are those, we put to work day on day.
The only thing which entry to our Big Ideas programme will cost you is the time to fill out the form, and the prize at the end of this is sponsorship from one of four tier 1 contractors who deliver billions of pounds of work across our sector on an annual basis.
Culminating in a live final in September at the Innovation Campus, Birmingham, in front of a series of industry “Dragons” our final 6 will get the chance to pitch their innovative ideas to Tier 1 industry leaders, investors and those with the power to truly bring a product to market with view of getting sponsorship and support to help make ideas and visions a reality.
Whilst every competition has winners and losers, the principal aim of the Big Idea is to shine a light on innovation and to give an opportunity of exposure for start ups and SME’s to those within the supply chain who can really help them to get a foothold in the sector.
Entries will open in early March and close at the end of June with the shortlisted 6 invited to go forward to a live final where they will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to stake their claim for the ultimate prize.
