Hampshire puts suppliers on alert for fifth gen £500m Highways and Transport framework


Suppliers placed on alert by council for 2024-2028 framework.


Hampshire County Council has given suppliers notice that it will soon be accepting tenders to join its fifth generation Collaborative Framework 2024-2028, worth £500M.


The framework will be divided into four lots:


Lot 1: Works with a maximum value of £250,000 - carriageway and footway paving, junction improvements, traffic calming, small scale carriageway surfacing, cycleways, earthworks, drainage, traffic signs, road markings, car park works, fencing, landscaping, CCTV surveys, trial holes; the lot also includes the design and deployment of traffic management as well as school playground repair and refurbishment.


Lot 2 : Works with a maximum value of £5M


Lot 3: Works unto a value of £20M


Lot 4: Works with a value between £15M and £150M


The final three lots infrastructure installation, kerbing and paving installation, drainage and ducting installation, installation of traffic signs, installation of street furniture, including street lighting and traffic signal equipment, installation of vehicle restraint systems.


The framework will be managed by a team at Hampshire County Council; with the estimated date of publication for the contract notice is 17 April 2023.
