Arcadis Appoints Peter Hogg as Country Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland

Arcadis has announced the appointment of Peter Hogg as Country Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland, succeeding Simon Bimpson, who will continue in his role as President of Arcadis Advanced Manufacturing.

With 28 years at Arcadis, Peter brings a wealth of experience in the built environment, a strong record of civic engagement, and an enduring commitment to improving quality of life. Alongside his new role, he will continue to serve as London City Executive.

Throughout his career, Peter has played a key role in delivering some of London’s most iconic infrastructure projects, including the Jubilee Line Extension, St Pancras International Station, and Heathrow Terminal 5. His leadership has not only driven successful client outcomes but has also contributed to enhancing London’s standing as a global city.

A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Peter’s background spans building surveying and project management. His approach reflects a deep understanding of how to align built and natural assets with clients’ broader visions and priorities.

For the past nine years as London City Executive, Peter has led Arcadis’ market strategy, client relationships, and business development initiatives across the capital. He has also been central to strengthening the company’s engagement with both central and local government, as well as economic development and investment bodies nationwide. Frequently cited by industry and national media, Peter continues to shape the conversation around sustainable and successful urban development.

Outside Arcadis, Peter serves as a non-executive board member of the Confederation of British Industry and recently completed a term as a non-executive director of the Thames Estuary Growth Board.
