Chevron Traffic Management has embarked on a mammoth recruitment drive to hire over 300 new employees across the UK.
The roles have been created as a result of Chevron TM’s ongoing expansion and will be based at depots located around the UK.
“Chevron TM is a nationwide company with 28 depots running from North to South, but we operate at a local level,” explains Matt Morphet, Chevron TM Chief Operating Officer. “We are committed to supporting the communities in which we operate and expect that these roles will be filled by candidates from within our local areas, providing employment and economic support as the country starts to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The new roles include Full 12A/B/D TM Operatives and Foremen, 12A/B TM Foreman and TM Operative IPV and 12D M5/6/7.
“While we have the capacity to train new employees, our recruitment drive is focussed primarily on qualified TMOs who are keen to join a growing and thriving company like Chevron TM,” adds Matt.
“We want to bring new experience and expertise to Chevron TM and provide a platform to develop long-term careers with management potential by providing leadership and personal development training and opportunities.
These new roles come at an ideal time for many qualified TMOs who currently work through agencies but will soon be impacted by the upcoming changes to the IR35 legislation. Chevron TM is offering permanent positions and job security in a company with ambitious growth plans and a commitment to see all staff develop to their true potential.”
Chevron TM is the largest independent traffic management provider in the UK. It has grown substantially in recent years through a series of acquisitions which has added digital services and highways soft estate management to its list of services. It operates in key sectors including High- and Low-Speed, Utilities, Rail and Events and is at the forefront of bringing digital technology to traffic management services.
“Chevron TM is growing in key sectors, securing bigger and more challenging contracts,” adds Matt, “and with the growth of innovation and digital technology, we are integrating digital products into our traditional traffic management plans, giving our projects a new dimension. It is a really exciting time to join us.”Chevron Traffic Management has embarked on a mammoth recruitment drive to hire over 300 new employees across the UK.
