Pandemic aside, 2020 was an extraordinary year for the team here at SRL. Highlights include the development of a traffic light range to include the new Multiphase Adaptive Detection System which our trials suggest is around 50% more efficient than standard traffic lights in reducing congestion.
The company also expanded their VMS offering with new products for the high speed and compact markets and introduced the industry’s first portable CCTV to provide a 360° panoramic view and a perspective of 180° beneath the camera.

As the UK and Republic of Ireland’s leading manufacturer and supplier of mobile intelligent transport system (ITS) equipment, it’s critical to maintain the high professional standards their customers associate with them, a position recognised with the confirmation of not one, not two but three ISO certifications.
ISO 14001:2015 confirms we’re actively managing our environmental responsibilities and performance.
ISO 45001:2018 shows we’re working continually to improve our occupational health and safety management systems to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff.
ISO 9001:2015 recognises the consistent quality of our products and services in line with customer requirements and statutory and regulatory obligations.
ISO Standards are an internationally recognised management system and the process of achieving certification was long and rigorous, examined every aspect of the organisation and culminated in a 15-day audit. Overseen by Mark Gordon and taking more than 12 months to complete, it also involved the alignment of all work procedures, manuals, and other documented information into each of the three standards.
The certifications give us added credibility and confirm that when customers partner with us, they’ll be working with a professional, sustainable, and ethical organisation that meets (and strives to exceed) industry standards in everything it does.
