Nottingham City Council is seeking specialist design partners through a new framework agreement worth up to £3 million to help deliver highways and transport schemes across the city over the next four years.
The local authority has opened procurement for its Highways Transport Project Design Support Framework, which will provide professional design services for a broad range of transport infrastructure projects within Nottingham's administrative boundary.
According to the tender documentation published via Pro-Contract, appointed suppliers will be expected to deliver design support across a variety of highways projects. Depending on the requirements of individual commissions, successful framework partners may also need to work collaboratively with council officers, external consultants, contractors and other organisations involved in project delivery.
Nottingham City Council intends to appoint up to three suppliers, subject to receiving suitable submissions, creating a pool of specialist providers capable of supporting its future transport investment programme.
The proposed framework is scheduled to commence on 28 September 2026 and, at the council's discretion, could remain in place until 27 September 2030, providing up to four years of design support.
Further information on the scope of services and technical requirements is available within the published tender documentation.
