Applications for ESPO’s (Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation) national framework agreement for the supply and installation of signage are set to close tomorrow, according to ProContract.
The framework covers a wide range of signage, including safety signs, corporate signs, road name signs, and electronic displays, providing councils, public bodies, and other organisations with a simplified route to procurement.
ESPO is a public sector buying organisation, owned by 13 local authorities in the East and Midlands of England. It works to deliver cost-effective procurement solutions and frameworks for schools, local authorities, and other public sector organisations, helping members access goods and services efficiently while saving time and money.
The framework is divided into eight lots:
Health and Safety and Related Signs (ESPO Catalogue)
Corporate Signs
Road Name Signs
Electronic Signs
Wayfinding Signs (including interactive options)
Permanent Vehicle Activated Signs and Related Equipment
Temporary Traffic Signs
Permanent Traffic and EV Charging Point Signs, including posts, fixings, and attachments
The agreement includes an option to extend for up to 24 months, typically awarded either in full or in 12-month increments, depending on the performance of the framework.
The total estimated value of the contract, including potential extensions, is £18 million, reflecting the broad range of signage products and services available under the scheme.
