Chevron TM | Chevron Group Strengthens Leadership Team

The Chevron Group has made two new appointments to its Senior Leadership Team.

Chris Woodroofe has joined the organisation as Chief Operating Officer to oversee all aspects of operational performance and help drive the company’s continuing growth.

“We are delighted to welcome Chris to the Chevron Group,” comments Chevron CEO, Tim Cockayne. “Chris joins us from Gatwick Airport where he spent 14 years leading a number of successful people, process and system change programmes, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. As a result, he has strong experience in delivering organisational change and performance improvement in complex and challenging environments. He will bring a fresh approach to our operations.”

In another appointment, Louise Cope has joined as Chevron Group HR Director with a key focus on driving the company’s ambitious recruitment plans.

“Louise has over 20 years’ experience in HR in manufacturing, engineering and accident repair with companies which include Nissan, Kraft-Cadbury and Redde Northgate Nationwide Accident Repair,” adds Cockayne. “She has delivered a number of successful projects including large scale mergers, acquisitions and integration and change programmes and brings a wealth of experience to Chevron Group.”

The Chevron Group is the UK’s leading Work-Zone Safety company for traffic management, digital services and highway soft estate management, comprising of Chevron Traffic Management, Chevron Green Services, HRS and Class One in Scotland. The group was recently named as a supply chain partner on National Highways’ new £3.6bn Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) and secured a long-term contract to supply traffic management services to Severn Trent Water.

“Chris and Louise are joining us at a very exciting stage in the Chevron journey,” continues Cockayne. “We have recently been awarded a number of significant long-term contracts and have a strong pipeline of other secured works. They will be instrumental in supporting the successful delivery of these contracts and ensuring our continued growth. We are delighted to have them in the Chevron Group.”
