Wolverhampton Council to Invest £10m in Road Repairs and Upgrades

Potholes will be filled and roads repaired across Wolverhampton as the council plans to spend £10 million on highway improvements in the 2025-26 financial year.
The programme includes road resurfacing, street lighting upgrades, car park technology improvements, and road safety measures, such as enforcement against illegal parking outside schools.
The council’s plans are set to be reviewed by the scrutiny board on Tuesday and considered for approval by the cabinet on 18 February.

The council said the investment aims to improve road safety, enhance transport infrastructure, and provide a smoother driving experience for residents and commuters across the city.
