Andrew Bruce has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Waterman Aspen from 1st August 2025.

Andrew joined the business in 2008 and took on his first secondment at Durham County Council. Since then, Andrew has had the opportunity to work across all levels of the management team and seen the business navigate recessions, a global pandemic, and major shifts in how we work. Through it all, Waterman Aspen has grown significantly, nearly tripling in size, and the focus remains on continuing to build a resilient business for the future.

On his new appointment Andrew commented, “I’m excited about the future for Waterman Aspen and our industry. We have a fantastic opportunity to embrace new technologies, continue to evolve as a business and further strengthen the relationships we have with all of our valued clients across the UK.”

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys running, spending time with his family and watching Newcastle United. He has completed a number of tough running challenges and raised thousands of pounds for charity in the process.

Andrew takes over this new role from his predecessor, Mark Emberton. Mark has been with Waterman Aspen for almost 35 years and has been Managing Director since 2018. Mark isn’t leaving Waterman  and has accepted the role of Chief Operating Officer UK for parent company, Waterman Group.

Excited about Andrew’s new appointment and what lies ahead for Waterman Aspen, Mark said: “Waterman Aspen is in great shape, and I am proud to have been part of its journey so far. I am confident that Andrew will excel in his new role and receive the full support he needs in this fantastic company made up of great people. Please join me in wishing him all the very best.”

We wish both Andrew and Mark every success in their new roles and look forward to the exciting future ahead for Waterman.
