Transport Scotland has announced it is set to start the procurement process for a multi-supplier framework agreement covering asset management technical services.
It has released a prior information notice for the framework, to help Transport Scotland manage and analyse trunk road asset data, according to Ground Engineering.
The asset management technical services will need to take into account ‘standards and codes of practice. maintenance processes/procedures, asset performance and budget assignments to deliver value for money and innovation.’
The framework will be divided into four lots :
*An asset management improvement programme
*Asset management performance system development
*Geotechnical certification services
*Asset management technical advice.
It is expected Transport Scotland will publish the contract notice at some point in October.
