Transport for Wales (TfW) is inviting ambitious graduates to join its 2026 Future Leaders Graduate Scheme, offering the chance to help transform transport across Wales.

The two-year programme provides participants with hands-on experience across bus and rail projects, rotating through teams in their chosen area. Graduates will benefit from structured mentorship, development workshops, and financial support for professional qualifications, equipping them with the skills to become future leaders in Welsh transport.

TfW has 11 graduate positions available across eight specialisms:

  • Bus Project Management

  • Bus Network Planning

  • Customer Operations (2 roles)

  • Commercial (2 roles)

  • IT and Digital Services

  • Operations

  • Systems Safety Engineering

  • Transport Planning (2 roles)

Jade McIntosh, Early Talent Manager at TfW, said: “Our graduate scheme is an excellent opportunity for young people to get their foot in the door and build a rewarding career. Many previous participants have progressed into permanent roles, contributing to major projects across Wales. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to make a real impact.”

Applications close at midnight on 18 January 2026, though early submissions are encouraged due to high interest.
