Torquay Group Acquires P&D Specialist Services to Expand Safety and Infrastructure Capabilities

Torquay Group has announced the acquisition of P&D Specialist Services, one of the UK’s leading providers of CCTV and specialist electrical solutions for highways and infrastructure.

The deal marks a major milestone in Torquay Group’s strategy to unite innovative businesses with shared values around safety, sustainability, and technical excellence. With the addition of P&D, the Group strengthens its integrated offering across traffic management, infrastructure delivery, and public safety.

Founded more than 20 years ago in Derbyshire, P&D is widely recognised as the UK’s largest supplier of fixed temporary CCTV systems, with thousands of installations nationwide. Its expertise spans site surveys, design, installation, monitoring, and 24/7 maintenance, supporting contractors, local authorities, and national highways projects. The company also delivers permanent safety camera systems, EV charging infrastructure, festive lighting, and specialist heat detection solutions.
