At TLS Group, giving back is more than just a seasonal gesture – it’s a core value that drives the business year-round.
At Christmas, TLS went the extra mile to support its surrounding communities, reflecting its commitment to making a tangible difference where it’s needed most.
Over the 2024 festive season, TLS took part in several charitable initiatives aimed at helping those in need during the holiday period. These efforts included:
Food Donations: Delivering food to Mission Trinity in Goole, Cowick & Snaith Community Pantry, and Two Rivers Food Bank in Goole, providing vital support to individuals and families facing hardship.
Infrastructure Support: Supplying a large chest freezer and a storage facility/shop to the Cowick & Snaith Community Pantry, enabling them to expand their essential services and reach more people in need.
Supporting the Homeless: Making a donation to Time & Plaice, a mobile fish and chip shop in Doncaster that provides warm meals to the homeless, spreading comfort and joy during the cold winter months.
TLS’s efforts during the festive season are a reflection of its belief in the power of community and the importance of standing together during challenging times.
Ongoing Support for Communities
TLS’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, however, extends far beyond the festive period.
The company is actively involved in supporting a range of initiatives throughout the year, making a lasting impact on local communities.
Local Boxing Gyms: TLS sponsors grassroots boxing gyms, providing young people with opportunities to develop discipline, resilience, and confidence in a safe and inspiring environment.
Local Football Teams: Several local football teams benefit from TLS’s sponsorship, ensuring players have access to the resources and facilities they need to thrive, fostering teamwork and community spirit.
The Lighthouse Club Charity: As a proud supporter of the Lighthouse Club Charity, TLS contributes to the emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing of construction and highways workers and their families, ensuring help is available when it’s needed most.
A Culture of Care
TLS Group’s actions are rooted in its ethos of care, collaboration, and community.
By prioritising charitable initiatives, TLS demonstrates how businesses can play an active role in building stronger, more connected communities.
Whether it’s through festive giving, sponsorships, or long-term partnerships, TLS’s efforts reflect a commitment to creating meaningful change and inspiring others to do the same.
MD Paul Chamley told us:
“Firstly, TLS extends its thanks to all those who contributed to making our efforts possible over the Christmas period. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to supporting those in need and making a positive impact year-round.
“Our team are signed up for a number of challenges already across 2025 and we’re excited to tackle those all in the name of good causes and social value.”
