Entries for the Big Idea 2022 to open on 1st March 2022.
The organisers of the #highwaysheroes awards are delighted to announce that the entries for this years #bigideacompetition will open on the 1st March 2022.
The date will coincide with the launch of the brand new website, specifically designed to showcase this groundbreaking event.
As a once in a generation competition, the event and programme offer start up organisations and SME's the opportunity to not only showcase their ideas in front of industry experts but also to benefit from "sponsorship" to get their vision to market.
Many leading contractors have already committed to supporting the event and from these, over the coming weeks, we will draw 4 industry 'dragons' who will support our winners with knowledge, experience and the financial resource to make a vision a reality through sponsorship of their chosen innovator.
Throughout the process we will draw on the expertise of, not only our 'dragons', but also industry leaders who will play an integral part in the judging process as well as external bodies such as Innovate UK and Birmingham City University.
