A BRIDGWATER-based infrastructure services company has expanded its operations with the launch of a new division.
RK Bell Group has launched RK Bell Highways, which follows the Group’s continued growth, having acquired Gworks Surfacing Ltd in 2023.
The strategic move enhances the Group’s capacity to support public sector frameworks and Tier 1 contractors with both planned and reactive highways services including drainage, patching, full carriageway surfacing and public realm works.
To accommodate this growth, the company has also expanded its Bridgwater headquarters, developing a new mezzanine office floor to house additional staff.
Nick Bell MCIOB, Group Managing Director said: “The launch of RK Bell Highways marks an exciting step forward in the Group’s expansion. It allows us to scale delivery while staying grounded in the local communities we serve. Our growth reflects both long-term client trust and the capability of our specialist teams.”
The division is led by Andy Emmett FIHE, who brings more than 25 years of highways experience to the role.
“This is more than just a new division, it’s a commitment to regional delivery,” Andy commented.
“We’re proud to be creating new jobs, building local partnerships and keeping investments anchored in the region.”
The team expects to create 50 new roles across both operatives and site staff in the coming months.
As part of a wider integrated offering, RK Bell Highways works alongside the Group’s existing surfacing, civil engineering, plant hire, transport/haulage and waste/recycling operations.
