Octavius Infrastructure become the latest organisation to join Safer Highways

Safer Highways is delighted to announce the Octavius Infrastructure as the latest member of its industry-wide collective.

Octavius is a leading transport infrastructure provider. The work they do underpins much of what we expect in the UK: safe, efficient transport networks. Working closely with their customers (include National Highways, Connect Plus and Eastern Highways Alliance, amongst many others) and partners, they help keep the trains running and traffic moving on our roads.

From beginnings as a small civil engineering contractor in 1966, Octavius Infrastructure have always delivered a great service by collaborating with their customers, integrating suppliers and developing their people.

Joining Safer Highways also sees the continuation of long-established relationships as Safer Highways CEO, Kevin Robinson explains,

"Despite Octavius not formally being members of Safer Highways I have known a good number of their Senior Leadership team for many years.

"In fact Jamie (Operations director Jamie Harrison) attended the first ever Safer Highways conference back in 2015 and I know Neil (Wilson) well as a result of his former role at Kier.

"So for them to formally take the step into membership effectively squares the circle for both parties.

"I look forward to members of the organisation engaging in many of the Safer Highways workflows and indeed engaging at a strategic level as we continue to progress."
