Octavius appointed to YORcivil3 framework

Leading transport solutions provider Octavius Infrastructure has been awarded places on the new YORcivil3 framework to deliver civil engineering works, bridges/structure works, highway surfacing works, flood alleviation works and coastal works for public sector organisations across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Following a competitive tendering process, Octavius has won places in both areas of Lot 3 of the framework and will, as a result, deliver projects valued between £4m and £10m across the whole region. Aligned to the UK Government’s Construction playbook, YORCivil3 includes direct selection and single or two stage mini competition call off options, with the use of NEC4 as the preferred form of contract. It replaces the YORcivil2 framework which expires in August 2023.

Octavius has a wealth of experience successfully delivering civil engineering projects through other frameworks including National Highways’ Regional Delivery Partnership (RDP) and Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF), Connect Plus M25 Lifecycles and Call of Framework Agreement (COFA), the Eastern Highways Alliance and Hertfordshire County Council’s Structures Framework.

Commenting on the award, Gavin Pritchard, MD Highways at Octavius, said:

“We’re delighted to have been awarded a place on this new framework to build on the success of its previous iteration. The opportunity to work with the team at YORhub and customers across the region is one that really excites the team and which supports our ambition to expand our footprint across England & Wales, allowing us to bring our collaborative approach to the benefit of new customers, suppliers and the travelling public alike.”
