National Highways new H&S director to deliver opening session at SHL!ve




National Highways new Health and safety Director to open this years SHL!ve.


Mel Clarke, the new Health and Safety director of National Highways will open this years SHL!ve event.


Having only recently been confirmed in post ms. Clarke replaces Mark Byard in the role.


Mel, who has almost 20 years’ operational experience in the roads sector, is currently Director of Customer Service in National Highways’ Operations directorate


Her new role will be focused on the safe operation of the SRN, focusing on National Highways employees, the supply chain and road users.


To be held at East Midlands Conference Centre on 29th September 2022. The event will incorporate both Respect our Roadworkers week and The Big Idea, with the live final in the afternoon of the full day programme.


SH L!ve is made up of indoor and outdoor exhibition zones showcasing the latest innovation, products, concepts and services in the health, safety and wellbeing sector, alongside several unique feature areas that will bring all the latest insight.
