A so-called “chatty van” used by National Highways is being used to engage with people in Wiltshire about plans for a tunnel on the A303 under Stonehenge.
Members of the project team were out over the weekend and will be this week to give updates on what’s happening on the scheme, in a bid to address any concerns people may have as well as answer any questions.
The events took place in Shrewton, Winterbourne Stoke and Salisbury over the weekend and will be in Amesbury, Durrington and back in Salisbury this week.
There will also be a live web chat on Thursday.
A legal challenge against the decision to grant consent for the scheme was upheld by the High Court last July, and the Department for Transport is currently reviewing options for the £1.7 billion scheme.
