Safer Highways Announce Adrian Tatum as Development Director for SHL!ve 2020

Safer Highways is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrian Tatum as Development Director for this year’s SHL!ve.

Adrian’s appointment will further strengthen a team including Safer Highways founder Kevin Robinson and Operations Director Holly Banks who last year delivered the inaugural event to industry-wide acclaim with over 750 visitors and in excess of 70 exhibitors, whilst at the same time furthering our engagement with the broader industry; specifically within local authorities.

Having previously spent 12 years with the Hemming group, most recently as Direct of Content for its Highways & Transport Division, working on events such as Traffex, Traffex Seeing Is Believing and Traffex Road Expo as well as Highways magazine and SMART Highways magazine. Before that he was Head of Content and also Editor of the well respected Surveyor magazine for nine years.

Speaking of the appointment Kevin Robinson, Chief Operating Officer, Safer Highways said:

“Adrian and I have shared a common goal for nearly a decade to improve our industry through collaboration and a willingness to try and deliver exactly what the industry wants. We he became available recently I was keen to carry on that good work. Adrian brings not only valuable event management and content experience but his experience as a journalist will help our Safer Highways publication go from strength to strength.

“This year as Safer Highways enters its third year as an industry collective and with the sector driving new standards around Health, Safety and Wellbeing it’s relevance is all the more apparent and as such adding to our human resource was a necessity and having somebody so skilled want to join our team was an honour.”

Over the course of the next 12 months the movement will launch its manifesto and framework in the field of wellbeing at this year’s Safety and Health Expo, conduct the second annual Thriving at Work Survey into the state of workplace mental health in the sector and also host the second annual Industry-Wide safety stand down event in SHL!ve in the autumn of this year.
