Laing O’Rourke Appoints Victoria Pomarnevska as Director of Strategy and Transformation

Laing O’Rourke has named Victoria Pomarnevska as its new Director of Strategy and Transformation for the Europe hub.

Pomarnevska joins the business from British Gas, where she was Strategy and Planning Director. She will initially work alongside Glenn Sheedy, the current head of strategy, who is moving into a new position as Director of Strategic Programmes (UK).

Peter Lyons, Managing Director of Laing O’Rourke’s Europe hub, welcomed the appointment:“I’m delighted Victoria has joined Laing O’Rourke. She becomes part of our Europe Executive Committee at a pivotal time, and her expertise will be vital in strengthening certainty and resilience across the business. Victoria will work closely with Glenn as he transitions into his new role, where he will continue to advance our delivery paradigm. I’d also like to thank Glenn for defining our strategic priorities in support of Deliver 2025 and look forward to seeing his impact in Strategic Programmes.”
