Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has now slammed the 'incredibly dangerous incident'

A group of youths were seen 'hanging on' to the back of a Bee Network bus near the Trafford Centre on Sunday (October 19).

Horror footage posted on social media showed the moment a pair of young boys, dressed in black coats, climbed onto the back of the 52 service from Failsworth to Trafford.

The clip was filmed at the Ellesmere Circle roundabout as the bus made its way down Redclyffe Road.

The witness, who shared the images with the M.E.N said the 'kids were hanging on for ages' and that another bus 'went up behind them and was beeping'.

She added: "They were waiting for a bus to stop at the roundabout and kept slipping off. Then two managed to get on and the third ran along the road laughing."

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has now slammed the 'incredibly dangerous incident' and 'urged parents and guardians to speak to their children'.

A TfGM spokesperson told the M.E.N: “This is incredibly dangerous behaviour which could have catastrophic consequences. It’s also a criminal offence.

"We’d urge all parents and guardians to speak to their children about the dangers of this kind of behaviour. Not only are these young people taking their own lives in their hands, but they will also face very real consequences if they are caught.”
