Safer Highways, Transport Scotland and National Highways announce dates for week of activity.
The dates for the inaugural "Respect our Roadworkers week have been announced as 14th - 18th March 2022.
Part of the industry-wide Stamp it Out programme, the week will involve a series of focussed activities all of which will be aimed at giving the sector the tools we need to better protect those we put to work on the public highways which will involve toolbox talks, the launch of the new Stamp it Out app and an exclusive preview into the groundbreaking Conflict Management Training.
Founded by the sector, Stamp it Out's sole aim is to reduce and eventually eliminate the abuse of roadworkers and incursions into worksites by the public.
The week will culminate with the Safer Highways Spring Summit to be held in London and a ministerial event hoisted by Transport Scotland at Holyrood Palace, the Scottish Parliament.
