Entries for this year’s Big Idea innovation challenge will close on Friday 27th May 2022.
An industry first, the Big Idea connects leaders and innovators with those who possess the skills to make a vision become a reality in an open, and honest environment where the only people who benefit are those, we put to work day on day.
The final will take place on 29th September at this year’s SHL!ve event, being held at the East Midlands Conference and Events Centre, with the four winners going on to secure sponsorship from one of the tier one contractors, providing them with financial security, experience and resource to make a vision into a product which gets to market.
The Big Ideas of today become the great innovations of the future. But sometimes every Big Idea needs a little help along the way - to make that next step.
That’s exactly what our Big Idea competition does.
Are you an SME or a tech start up with a ground-breaking product or idea but are finding it hard to gain traction within the industry?
The only thing which entry to our Big Ideas programme will cost you is the time to fill out the form, and the prize at the end of this is sponsorship from one of four tier 1 contractors who deliver billions of pounds of work across our sector on an annual basis.
Whilst every competition has winners and losers, the principal aim of the Big Idea is to shine a light on innovation and to give an opportunity of exposure for start ups and SME’s to those within the supply chain who can really help them to get a foothold in the sector.
Entries opened in early March and close at the end of May with the shortlisted 6 invited to go forward to a live final where they will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to stake their claim for the ultimate prize.
