Cheshire West and Chester Council will be the first local authority to test OneView 2.0, a new roadworks data platform developed by Triopsis.
The system provides free, instant access to permit details, roadworks schedules, and traffic management plans through a simple interface. It has been designed to complement Triopsis’ highways AI scheduling tools while ensuring that transport data remains open to the public.
The council plans to add the platform to its website this month, giving residents and road users easier access to information about planned works.
Rose McArthur, Director of Transport and Highways at Cheshire West and Chester Council, said:“We are pleased to be early adopters of Triopsis’ AI scheduling software. OneView 2.0 supports our goal of keeping public data truly public and helps improve journeys in and around Cheshire West.”
Andy Hutt, CEO of Triopsis, added:“By removing costs and making highways information freely available, OneView allows councils to redirect resources from software licences into maintaining roads where it matters most.”
Triopsis said the platform will support better coordination of works, reduce delays, and improve transparency for both councils and the public.
