ARCO become the latest members of Safer Highways

Safety Experts ARCO have become the 55th new member of Safer Highways this calendar year.

The company have been in the Safety business for over 130 years, in that time, having learnt that it's not just safety gear but that education plays a key factor in how we keep our people safe, something the organisation fully embrace.

From fall protection to confined spaces training Arco believe in providing not just a product to keep our people safe from Injuries, but also the knowledge which allows them to go home safe and well and also allowing them to continue living life to the full.

Established in 1884 Arco has a long history of keeping people safe at work. As industrial and manufacturing processes change to keep pace with the ever-evolving demands of an increasingly sophisticated consumer, Arco has stayed at the forefront of the safety and maintenance supplies business. Arco is above all, a family business, which has been putting people first for over 130 years.

Speaking about the decision to join Safer Highways, Dave Cox, Head of Construction Sector said,

“After many years of association with Safer Highways we are delighted to become official members.

As experts in safety we are in a great position to work in alignment with Safer Highways and look forward to supporting their members in delivering their strategies and goals.”

Echoing those thoughts, Kevin Robinson, Chief Executive of Safer Highways said,

“From day one ARCO have been by our side as a strategic partner and somebody we have fostered a very close relationship with over the last five years.

“From our inaugural event, through innovation challenges for SME organisations they have always been a constant to the Safer Highways community.

“To now finally be able to square the circle and welcome them into membership seems to be the next step in that evolution.

“Their belief in putting the safety of the people we put to work fits with many of our own values and as such they represent yet another like minded organisation joining our collective, something I am delighted to announce.”

As a part of the membership and commitment to protecting those who work on the public highway, ARCO are also one of the table sponsors for this year’s Highways Heroes awards.
