A road in Cornwall is going under the hammer with a £0 guide price. Cornwall Council has instructed the sale of the road and footpath in Stennack Road, at Holmbush Industrial Estate in St Austell.

The land extends to a total of about 0.05 hectares (0.13 acres). The road has previously been used as informal parking and is located within an industrial estate which provides access to deliveries for a Tesco supermarket.

The road has been brought to market by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers and has a guide price of £0.

Auctioneer David Henwood said: “This is an unusual lot comprising a roadway and footpath which has been partially used for informal parking. It is situated within a well-established industrial estate and provides access for deliveries to Tesco supermarket.”

Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers is putting forward 167 lots in its third sale of 2025. Other lots including a former school and WI building.

The third auction of eight in 2025 by the firm concludes on May 1, with bidding live from April 29. It is among the latest 19 Cornwall properties and pieces of land going under the gavel.
