London Borough of Brent is looking to appoint new contractors £81M highways maintenance contract.
Split into two lots, both contracts will commence on 1st April 2023 and run for an initial period of seven years, with the potential to extend for a further three (performance based).
Lot 1 of the contract is worth up to £44M and its scope includes:
Planned schemes and planned maintenance work in area 1 (north) of the borough
Reactive repairs across the whole of the borough
Emergency call-out service across the whole of the borough
Cyclical and reactive gully cleansing across the whole of the borough
Occasional planned schemes and planned maintenance work in area 2 (south) of the borough – with no guarantee that any such work will be given
Lot 2 of the contract is worth up to £37M and its scope includes:
Planned schemes and maintenance work in the area 2 (south) of the borough
Occasional reactive repair work across the whole of the borough – with no guarantee that any such work will be given
Occasional planned schemes and planned maintenance work in area 1 (north) of the borough – with no guarantee that any such work will be given
Submission of tenders must be completed by 12pm on 28th October.
