Tilbury Douglas has appointed a new commercial director for its infrastructure business. Former Amey Utilities commercial director Paul Thain will join Tilbury Douglas next month to support and drive the group’s growing infrastructure business. Thain will sit on the infrastructure senior leadership team and will report to Chris Tyerman, managing director for infrastructure. He brings with him over 35 years of commercial and operational experience working on infrastructure projects and repair and maintenance, within the rail and utility sectors. Before his three and half years at Amey, Thain worked for Balfour Beatty Rail and Laing O’Rourke as commercial lead for power.
Tyerman said: “Paul has significant commercial experience and has helped secure contracts across a range of sectors, including water, power, highways and telecoms.”
