Safer Highways have announced that next year’s SHL!ve will boast a new feature to its industry-wide event with the introduction of a small number of meeting pods which are available to purchase at the event.
As a result of increased demand, six meeting rooms have been provided for purchase by those companies wishing to have discussions away from their stands to afford them both extra space and privacy. The meeting rooms come with branding, power and lighting and a table and four chairs as part of the package.
Taking place on June 8th and 9th 2022, at the Evolution London in Battersea Park, the event has been built around developing it into the UK’s only Highways Centric Industry Wide Safety Stand down event, bringing together company briefings with a real interactive learning experience both inside and out throughout the two days. The event will see those working on both the strategic and local networks come together to experience a real mix of unique content and innovation as part of this unique fusion style event.
Both stands and outside exhibition space have been selling quickly as a result of a rise in interest in the popular fusion event that brings together interactive content and learning hubs with inside and outside exhibition space showcasing the latest technology, products and services that help keep our roadworkers and road users safer as they work on and travel upon the local and strategic networks.
Kevin Robinson, Chief Executive of Safer Highways said: “We have created extra meeting room space as we are very conscious that exhibition space is selling out fast but also to give companies the chance to hire them for the two days to have private discussion away from activity on the main show floor. I am pleased that we have seen a surge in exhibition stand booking both inside and out which will help add to what is expected to be the biggest and best SH L!ve yet.”
Already confirmed for the event are leading contractors such as Amey, Balfour Beatty, Kier, Galliford Try, Tarmac, Interserve and Morgan Sindall as well as WJ Group, SRL and many others as Safer Highways continues to increase its membership. Alongside this, several thought leaders will give their latest views, ideas and thinking on how to take forward the latest innovations and learning and apply it best to our sector.
The event will bring together directors, managers and operatives working on both the strategic and local networks to help take forward the Safer Highways initiative of creating a safer road network for both road workers and road users. Safer Highways’ work is focusing on helping the highways sector become the beacon of best practice for the good management of all health, safety and wellbeing issues, and that other sectors look to us as leaders in this field.
It remains the only FREE TO ATTEND industry-wide event targeted at those who are responsible for carrying out works on our public highways safely.
