Safer Highways, organisers of SH L!VE has taken the decision to close stand sales for its flagship event, taking place at the Evolution London venue, next June 8th and 9th, to non-member companies after Friday 23rd May.
The difficult decision was taken following the strong start to the year for the organisation, that has seen 40 new companies in the highways sector join as members of Safer Highways since the beginning of the year.
As part of their membership, each company gets allocated a 3x3m stand space at SH L!ve for free.
Speaking about this, Kevin Robinson, Chief Executive of Safer Highways, said: “This was a difficult decision to make because we want SH L!ve to represent the whole supply chain in the sector but, with more than a year from the event, we have had a phenomenal response both to the event and to companies wanting to be members of Safer Highways in the first part of the year. Because of our commitment to our members to give them a stand space, that means that we now have limited space available for any non-member companies that want to be part of the event next June, to help us continue to deliver the latest thinking and best practice on health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.”
SH L!ve is a dedicated event that provides a fusion between exhibition and conference and will feature 14 different content hubs, as well as an outdoor interactive display area featuring the latest innovation and technology.
Built around a keynote theatre which will feature a number of industry leaders over the two days, the event will also include the Safer Road Users Hub as well as the Morgan Sindall Hazard School and Gaist sponsored Local Roads Hub, all aimed at delivering the latest training and guidance as well as debate, discussion, technical presentations and case studies-taking interactive learning in the sector to a new level.
SH L!ve is made up of indoor and outdoor exhibition zones showcasing the latest innovation, products, concepts and services in the health, safety and wellbeing sector, alongside several unique feature areas that will bring all the latest insight. It could be one of the first times the industry gets together in the highways industry after a series of cancelled events in 2021 due to the on-going pandemic and lockdown restrictions.
The event will bring together directors, managers and operatives working on both the strategic and local networks to help take forward the Safer Highways initiative of creating a safer road network for both road workers and road users.
It remains the only FREE TO ATTEND industry-wide event targeted at those who are responsible for carrying out works on our public highways safely.
Already confirmed for the event are leading contractors such as Amey, Balfour Beatty, Kier, Galliford Try, Tarmac, Interserve and Morgan Sindall as well as WJ Group, SRL, Gaist and many others as Safer Highways continues to increase its membership. Alongside this, several thought leaders will give their latest views, ideas and thinking on how to take forward the latest innovations and learning and apply it best to our sector.
Any non-member companies wanting to be a part of the event are urged to get in touch as soon as possible. You can check out the latest floor plan here.
