Police issue stern message after more drug drivers taken off Devon roads

Two alleged drink drivers have been taken off the roads of South Devon. The motorists were caught in Paignton and Newton Abbot over the weekend.

Police said on social media that neither driver had a licence or insurance. They both also tested positive for drugs and were arrested.

Devon and Cornwall Police said in a post on X: "#Paignton #NewtonAbbot 2 more off the road, No licence/No Insurance = No vehicle.

"Both drivers also tested positive for drugs and arrested. Driving is a privilege, not a given."
