Liam Davies, British Super Bantamweight Champion, set sights on European title with support from Multevo
Supporting Liam forms part of Multevo’s ‘committed to communities’ ethos, having worked in the local Telford and Shropshire region as a highway maintenance delivery partner since 2020.
Multevo are a nationwide turnkey supply chain partner, delivering highway maintenance, civil engineering, traffic management, vegetation, and arboriculture services, with over 250 operatives working across the North, Midlands and Southeast.
Multevo first met Liam back in 2021, when collaborating with Balfour Beatty and Telford & Wrekin Council on a social value initiative to resurface the access path and car park at Donnington Boxing Club to make it much safer and more accessible for visitors.
The club is at the heart of the community and is where Liam started his boxing journey at a young age, originally trained by his late Grandfather. His father, who now runs the club, has also had a huge influence on Liam’s dream in becoming a professional boxer.
From the offset it was clear to see Liam held strong values in making his family and community proud. Multevo instantly recognised Liam’s drive, passion, and dedication, not just to fulfilling his personal dreams as a professional boxer, but also to being a positive role model for the young individuals of the community.
The undefeated fighter became the first person in Telford to win a British title and will now be fighting for the European title later this year, with Multevo continuing to sponsor him.
