Milestone Reached as Hampshire County Council extend contract to 2029

Milestone Infrastructure, a part of M Group Services, will be continuing to support HampshireCounty Council to 2029, with a five-year extension to its highway services contract

.Committed to providing high levels of service delivery, continuous improvement andinnovation, Milestone will be continuing its collaborative partnership with the County Council,operating as Hampshire Highways.

Since 2017 Milestone has delivered over £350 million of highway services for the benefit oflocal communities and businesses in the county.The next six years will see Hampshire Highways continuing to develop a joint approach toreducing carbon with a target of 40% reduction in carbon intensity by 2025 and 60% by2030.

Simon Watson, Business Director for Milestone Infrastructure in Hampshire, said: “We aredelighted to be continuing to deliver the Hampshire Highways service until 2029.“The collaborative approach we take working as Hampshire Highways has providedresilience to the service through some difficult times and this puts us in a strong position tonow reinvest in the service over an extended period to 2029.

Highway maintenance contacts in Oxfordshire, Devon and Peterborough have allrenewed in the last year.
