VolkerHighways has become the latest company to become a member of Safer Highways, the leading industry-wide body which champions health, safety and wellbeing.
This comes at a time of significant growth for Safer Highways which has seen several new members join the organisation in the last four months. VolkerHighways is added to an already solid base of tier 1 and 2 contractors and other companies from across the whole highways supply chain.
The company will bring valuable experience of its work across highways, streetlighting, surfacing and traffic management in the UK to help Safer Highways as it continues to support the sector with a number of important programmes as well as continuing to communicate innovation, best practice and the latest thinking on health, safety and wellbeing.
VolkerHighways has had success working with many infrastructure operators as well as local authorities including; West Berkshire, Bristol, Bath & NE Somerset, Wokingham as well as work for Transport for London, Siemens and CityFibre to name just a few.
