Jackson Civils become the latest member of Safer Highways

Safer Highways are delighted to announce that Jackson Civils have become the latest member of Safer Highways, making it 56 new members since the beginning of 2021.

Jackson is a regionally structured civil engineering firm with national capabilities. Our no-nonsense approach to work means that our clients keep coming back because they can rely on us to get the job done on time and on budget. A first-class civil engineering firm requires first-class people. Our Board of Directors have the experience, tenacity, and skill to ensure that every job we undertake is a success, both for the client, and the company.

The organisation has a wealth of experience across a variety of different sectors. At any one time, we have around 50 live jobs, from as far North as Yorkshire, all the way down to the South Coast.

Speaking about the decision to become a Safer Highways member, Paul Watson, Highways Sector Director at Jackson said,

“It was clear to us at Jackson Civil Engineering that the good work being done through Safer Highways was something we needed to be part of to share our experiences and innovations and learn from others. We all have a duty to make working on our Highways as safe and healthy as possible for all the people working and using them and I believe working collaboratively we will achieve this.”

Expressing his delight at the decision from Jackson to become members, Safer Highways Chief Executive Kevin Robinson said,

“From a personal perspective I am proud to see how the Safer Highways family has expanded in the last 12 months.

“The addition of Jackson Civils to the family simply represents the next evolution in this process.

“We both share the same values and as such Jackson becoming members made perfect sense.

“I look forward to engaging with not only the senior leadership team and also the operatives to cascade our messages and working together on future programmes
