WJ Group, the market-leading highway marking and safety business, has acquired JMS Lincoln Limited, a leading Surface Preparation, Retexturing & Specialist Surface Coatings Company in Lincolnshire.
The official acquisition announcement was made on 1st December 2021 and is WJ’s second strategic acquisition of 2021 following the acquisition of Bellstan Ltd in June this year. The acquisition further develops WJ Group’s national coverage, strengthening the combined companies’ geographic reach in the East of England.
Founded in 1987, WJ continues to develop rapidly with an ambitious growth and acquisition strategy is accelerating with support from their investment partner THI, having made four acquisitions since 2017. In the medium term, JMS Lincoln will continue to trade as a stand-alone business but will fully integrate into the WJ Group in the long term.
