Dott, a leading European micro-mobility company, today announces integration with the KVB app, allowing users in Cologne to see the closest available e-scooters and e-bikes when planning a journey. Alongside existing rail, bus and other mobility options in the city, Dott’s fleet of e-bikes and e-scooters will be shown on the map of the KVB app. The system redirects to the Dott app, where the vehicle can be booked directly. Additionally, customers can choose whether to pay for a single trip or take advantage of Dott’s passes for greater value on more frequent travel. Dott’s e-bikes and e-scooters offer an efficient way to move around the city, whilst reducing congestion and pollution. Tassilo Cremer, General Manager Germany, Dott, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for people to choose sustainable transport when travelling around their cities. By integrating with the KVB app, we hope that more people will discover how Dott’s fleet of e-scooters and e-bikes can provide the most efficient way to complete their journey.” The environment and social impact are at the heart of every business decision at Dott. The micro-mobility company is working to reuse, upcycle or recycle 100% of used vehicles and parts, and aims to exceed a five year life-span for its vehicles. Dott is targeting a 100% electric logistics fleet and renewable energy in all its cities.
