On December 9th, 2022, the company was tasked with delivering and installing safety barriers for the Red Bull Formula 1 racing ‘homerun’ event in Milton Keynes. This was a high-profile event that required the company to work quickly and efficiently to ensure that the barriers were in place in time for the event.
The Milton Keynes Homerun gives the public the chance to see the drivers, the team and the cars up close as they displayed their skills along Midsummer Boulevard – right in the heart of Milton Keynes. As a non-ticket event, fans just came along and enjoyed a day that they’ll never forget. For DELTABLOC UK, the Homerun becomes an event where the safety of over 30,000 people is paramount.
Despite the tight deadline, DELTABLOC UK was able to deliver and install the barriers on Friday, December 9th, the day before the event. The company’s team of experts worked tirelessly to ensure that the barriers were properly placed and secured, providing a safe and secure environment for the showpiece to take place.
The event itself saw a plethora of Red Bull heroes showcase their skills, from motocross riders to stock car drivers, all building the crescendo the main event, the appearance of Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen and his teammate, Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez.
With the event over, the crowds headed home, but DELTABLOC UK still had plenty to do. The company quickly removed the barriers and had the roads clear and back open ready for use by Sunday, December 11th, 2022.
