Crowded become the latest exhibitor to commit to SHL!ve 2022

Safer Highways have announced that technology solutions provider Crowded are the latest organisation to commit to exhibiting at SHL!ve 2022.

Taking place at Evolution London, set deep in the heart of Battersea Park on the 8th and 9th June 2022, SHL!ve is one of the only opportunities on an annual basis for the entire supply chain to come together, share best practice, learn from each other and see first hand the innovations and initiative available which can make the public highway a safer place for those we put to work on a daily basis in a simulated 'live' work site environment.

The event, consisting of no fewer than 15 interactive content hubs and 106 exhibition stands and experiential learning zones also acts act the only collaborative, industry-wide safety stand down event.

Based at the University of Leeds innovation hub NEXUS, Crowded specialise in the automation of data gathering and analysis of people movement and crowd behaviour.

In late 2020, Crowded released CROSS.

CROSS is a hardware/software solution built specifically for the highways sector to increase pedestrian safety and experience around highway crossings and other points of public access. As a member of the Crowded range of SaaS services available to public and private sectors, it benefits from potential integration with others in the range including CrowdedCITY, CrowdedRAIL and CrowdedVENUE, which provide rich insights into pedestrian movement and behavioural analytics in their respective environments, and CrowdedCONNECT, a Public WiFi service.

The CROSS Pedestrian Crossing System incorporates a proximity sensor, a Bluetooth enabled trigger and a free user-facing mobile application that together, provide a simple method by which anyone can trigger a controlled pedestrian crossing without having to locate and utilise the button provided. This optimises safety, accessibility and experience for the many that need assistance in navigating the infrastructure around towns, cities and highways, minimising the potential stress and safety risk they may otherwise face.

Speaking about the addition of Crowded to the event Kevin Robinson, CEO of Safer Highways said,

"I am delighted to welcome yet another innovative company in Crowded to next year's SHL!ve.

"It really shows just how diverse the appeal of the event is and indeed how much value we will offer to those who take valuable time from their schedule to attend.

"I am proud to see the industry really coming together behind the event.

With over 85 of the 106 stands for the event now sold SHL!ve 2022 promises to be a game changer for the industry as we embark on the new normal of a post covid era.
