Last month, five members of the team and four construction workers from Farrans Construction and Alun Griffiths spent a day cleaning the land adjacent to the main airport roundabout.

The group battled wet and windy conditions to collect 14 bags of rubbish, which were sorted into recyclables and non-recyclables.

The Bristol Airport team joined forces with Farrans Construction and Alun Griffiths Contractors Ltd for the clean-up.

The two firms are currently working on Bristol Airport's largest capital project ever - the transformation of the Public Transport Interchange.

Since 2023, Sasse Facilities Management Ltd, the airport's on-site cleaning team, has been conducting monthly litter picks from the Stone Farm entrance to the A38 traffic lights.
