A special moment in the growth of Re-flow’s industry-leading software

Re-flow is delighted to announce a promotion in the Re-flow ranks. Ashley Wing now takes on the role of Chief Marketing Officer.

Many of our clients will know Ashley. His drive and knowledge has been a big part of Re-flow’s growth journey. His deep understanding of the software and the industries we serve have been hard won over a number of years.

This week, Ashley reflected on his time with the company. ‘I joined Re-flow in 2019, taking care of client accounts. Using my marketing background, I was able to take ownership of the role and start implementing some techniques into giving clients the best experience possible. Very quickly we built out the support and onboarding teams.

Did these early days at Re-flow make a difference? ‘Absolutely,’ Ashley said. ‘My time in support was really valuable. It was an opportunity for me to dig deep and understand our clients and their pain points.

With Re-flow, Ashley has combined his love of technology, experience from his family’s construction business and passion for marketing, all together in one place.

So, what are some of the longer-lasting effects of his time so far?

‘On the support side, delivering customer satisfaction and making sure our clients feel rewarded, looked after, and cared for has always been a main priority,’ Ashley said. ‘I wanted to embed that ethos into our team more than anything. It’s not enough to sell software and say, there you go, there's a product. For us, there's a long-standing commitment from both sides and we've got to be able to exceed their expectations. I set a high bar for myself and for the team.’

In 2021, Ashley became Re-flow’s Marketing Manager and, as CEO Mike Saunders recently said, ‘in true Ash style, he threw himself into it at 100 miles an hour.’

When Re-flow's then Sales Manager moved on, Ashley became Head of Sales and Marketing. As proof of Ashley’s success, he grew the two teams by over 700% and has been instrumental in quadrupling Re-flow’s annual recurring revenue and building a highly respected and recognised industry brand.

And now, after the promotion, how does the future look for Re-flow’s new Chief Marketing Officer?

‘We've got some really interesting plans bubbling away that will be valuable to our existing customer base. The future toolset of managing teams in the field will exponentially get more intuitive, powerful, and flexible. We want to lift the industry to the next level,’ Ashley said. ‘There’s a lot we want to do in terms of growth and being able to offer even more value and transparency. And really, my job now is to be able to focus on that side of it and make sure we're delivering on those key messages.

‘I believe in Re-flow. If you don't have that belief and passion behind the product you’re working with, it makes the job a very different beast. I feel fortunate because I know Re-flow is very good, and the culture we've created within the business is a big part of that.

‘It all feeds back into making sure we're giving our customers the best experience possible.’

With Ashley in such a pivotal role, Re-flow continues to lead the industry in addressing field requirements and empowering businesses.
