"Effective management of work-related road safety can
be a real challenge. A work place isn’t just a building,
or a construction site, it extends to your vehicles too. Businesses therefore must have an effective
policy covering all their work-related driving activities. This not only ensures staff are aware of their and your responsibilities; it is an essential requirement under
Health and Safety legislation".
THRIVING AT WORK SURVEY REPORT
Over 65% of respondents to this year’s Thriving at Work Survey were SME’s, highlighting the survey’s growing reach and the fact that more companies in the highways sector are paying closer attention to mental health in the workplace.
At a time when managers and employees are suffering from higher than normal levels of workplace stress due to Covid-19, our Management Guide to Workplace Stress brings together in one document guidance around employers Legal, Moral and Financial responsibilities, irrespective of their organisation’s size.
The aim of the benchmarking survey was to assess mental health provision across the industry. The question set was based upon the ten standards set out by the Thriving at Work report. The exercise was not only designed to benchmark but also to direct organisations to the relevant guidance to improve mental health provision in the workplace.
